To commemorate the diocesan phase of the National Eucharistic Revival, a Holy Hour with Bishop Bambera will be held in each of the twelve deaneries of the Diocese of Scranton during this upcoming season of Lent.  The dates and locations of each of these gatherings are as follows, with each evening beginning at 7:00PM:

To help promote these Lenten Holy Hours in each deanery, you will find resources below specific to each deanery including bulletin announcements, flyers and graphics in both English and Spanish that can be included in your weekly bulletin, posted on social media, or posted in church.  Each parish is asked to promote these Lenten Holy Hours as much as possible.

For host pastors, included below are resources for Vespers, including the program, music for the Gospel Canticle, as well as detailed instructions for the service that evening.  While Bishop Bambera will be the homilist for the evening, the host pastor will serve as the presiding minister for the Lenten Holy Hour.  For that reason, the host pastor is asked to read over the instructions carefully in preparation for the evening, and forward any relevant information to members of the music ministry who may be participating in the Lenten Holy Hour.

If you have any questions about the Lenten Holy Hour, please contact David Baloga, Director of Worship, at 570-207-2213, ext. 1158 or at david-baloga@dioceseofscranton.org.
