“Eating Disorders and our Catholic Faith”

A Mental Health Workshop offered by Dr. Megan Heeder of The University of Scranton focusing on eating disorders and Catholicism will take place at Divine Mercy Parish on May 22nd at 6:30p.m.. Come and learn about how wisdom from the Catholic tradition can help people understand eating disorders, and offer practical tools to those who struggle with them as well as their friends and family. 

There will be time for questions and conversation, and all are welcome. This event is sponsored by the NEPA Chapter of Catholic Mental Health Ministers and the Mental Health Ministry of Divine Mercy Parish.

Celebrate National Nurses Week with us at Divine Mercy Parish, May 10, 2025 at 4 PM with Fr. Thomas Muldowney, as guest celebrant.  

Join with fellow nurses and our parish community to worship and continue to ask God to guide us in our chosen profession to advocate and care for patients, families and each other.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., Scranton (Minooka) on the Second Sunday of Easter, April 27th.

Confessions will be heard from 12 Noon – 2:00 p.m. with praying of the rosary, followed by the celebration of Mass.

At 3:00 pm,  there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Eucharistic procession and individual blessing of the first-class relic of St. Faustina. A social will follow in the parish hall.
