Year of the Family “Treasure Chest” Parish Resource Starter Kit

The Office for Parish Life Team has collaborated to create for each parish a “STARTER KIT” to facilitate your planning across the entire upcoming Year of the Family.  Please unpack it eagerly and with great care – making sure to share its contents with any parish leaders who will need to know about and will benefit from the contents.  You will be receiving more details about each of these resources, but for today, the enclosures include:

  • Resource for Grandparents/Elders Day – July 25, 2021
  • Liturgical Resource to be utilized throughout the Year of the Family
  • Project idea for “Our Family Recipe” – with samples and many variations for your parish
  • Sample “ticket” invitation for a Diocesan Family Day at Knoebels – Sept 18, 2021
  • Invitation card for three upcoming initiatives to support young families: faith-sharing groups, tips and tricks for parenting, and prayer partnerships
  • Flyer describing three upcoming Family Faith Festival Workshops – join the workshops in order to prepare the actual Festival to host in your parish
  • The blessing of love and continued support from each member of the OPL Team as you bring the Year of the Family alive in your parish
