St. Joseph Marello and St. John the Evangelist Parishes in Pittston are proud to announce a concert performance by renowned composer Dan Schutte at St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William Street in Pittston, PA.  The concert will be held on Friday, December 2 at 7pm.  Dan is the writer of countless beloved and cherished hymns, including “Here I Am, Lord,” “City of God,” “Sing a New Song,” and the popular Mass Setting “Mass of Christ the Savior.”  His decades-long career has brought music and joy to liturgical celebrations worldwide.  This is his second-visit to our churches, and this performance will be a special event tailored to the Season of Advent including additional hymns selected to help us as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ at His birth.  Reservations can be made by calling the St. Joseph Marello Parish Office at 570-654-6902, emailing brandon@sjmparish.org, or filling out the following form: https://forms.gle/z9pCTaCwEDm7JZZz8 Tickets can be picked up from the Parish Office prior to the event or can be mailed to recipients.
