The Kingston Deanery is hosting a Road to Resurrection series during the season of Lent, centering on the theme: “Faith, Hope & Love: They’re Still Here.”
The weekly series will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., beginning on March 4 and continuing through March 18.
Serving as guest preacher will be Father Andrew Kurovsky, pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Peckville.
The three Lenten spiritual offerings will include celebration of Mass, with guest homily, at various host parishes throughout the Deanery, followed by a fellowship social. A special collection will also be taken at each Mass for a particular
charitable cause.
Road to Resurrection series schedule, with host worship sites, is as follows:
• March 4 — Saint Therese (Parish) Church, 64 Davis Street, Shavertown
• March 11 — Saint Ignatius Loyola (Parish) Church, 339 North Maple
Street, Kingston.
• March 18 — Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at Holy Trinity Church,
116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville.
