The Diocese of Scranton is pleased to welcome Fr. Ricky Manalo, CSP, Ph.D., a Paulist priest, composer, theologian, and author for a two-part event for our local observance of the National Eucharistic Revival entitled, “Encountering Christ: Music & Meditation”.

CONCERT–Friday, August 26 at 7:00PM

“Tune, Text, and Theology: Singing Our Praises to God”

PRESENTATION–Saturday, August 27 from 9:00AM-12 Noon

“A Eucharist of Encountering: Crossing Thresholds, Becoming Transformed”

Liturgy invites us to enter into “God space and time” where we become formed, re-formed, and trans-formed into the image and likeness of Christ. How do we respond during such privileged moments during our celebrations of the Mass? As part of the National Eucharistic Revival we invite you to a presentation that will set a foundation for understanding how we come to encounter Christ in the sacred meal, in one another, and in the world around us.

Both events will be held at the Church of Saint Gregory, located at 330 North Abington Road, Clarks Green, PA.

There is no charge for the events, but a free-will offering will be accepted.  We kindly ask those attending make a reservation at this link or by calling 570-207-2213 so we can plan accordingly.  Click here to download a flyer and help us spread the word!

For more information about these events, please contact David Baloga, Director for Worship, at 570-207-2213, ext. 1158 or at david-baloga@dioceseofscranton.org.
