Steubenville Youth Conferences
July 10 – 12, 2026
The Steubenville Summer Youth Conferences are a series of Youth Conferences held throughout the United States each summer. Each conference weekend is an opportunity to encounter Christ in a deeper way through sessions talks, prayer, the sacraments, Eucharistic Adoration and community. This year the Diocese of Scranton will be sponsoring a trip to Steubenville Main Campus 3 (July 10-12, 2026), located at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio.

When: July 10-12, 2026
Where: Franciscan University, 1235 University Boulevard, Steubenville, OH 43952
Cost: The cost to attend this conference with the Diocese of Scranton is $395 per person, which includes bus transportation, a diocesan conference t-shirt, conference fee, conference food, and conference housing.
Registration Deadline: Each parish group leader must sign up his or her parish group using the diocesan online portal no later than Wednesday, January 21st, 2026.
Fundraising Ideas for Steubenville Summer Conference 2026
With the permission of your pastor: have one or two of your students give a brief talk before each Mass to talk about how they plan to attend a summer youth conference. Have them explain to the congregation what the conference is about, how they desire to go and how they need each parishioner’s help in making this trip possible. Announce that the second collection will go directly to covering costs for the youth conference.
Have your youth and/or parents bake a dessert to sell after Masses one weekend or at a large parish event. The proceeds would go towards paying for the summer conference. Another option would be to use an outside vendor to sponsor the dessert sale.
Have your students use a letter script or phone script to reach out to family members, local businesses, or parishioners to sponsor their trip.
Meet with your Youth Ministry Core Team and/or your pastor to brainstorm on how to best fundraise for this upcoming event. Oftentimes, when we work together as a team, we will obtain greater insight on how to best tackle a project.
Have parishioners sponsor a student for the summer trip. One way this can be done is to put profiles of students in the bulletin with their names and quotes about how they hope to attend the conference and what they are looking forward to at the conference. There can be a blurb in the bulletin asking parishioners to please consider sponsoring a student.
Have a Youth Ministry Bingo Night to support the cost of the summer conference.
Have a car wash in the Spring benefiting your youth to attend the Steubenville Summer Conference this year. Have the car wash at your parish parking lot.
Advertise the summer conference to people in your parish who routinely donate to youth events and see if they would be willing to contribute to this year’s trip.
Payment dates for deposits and final payments:
Payment 1: $50 deposit per person, due by February 15th, 2026
Payment 2: $150 per person, due by April 1st, 2026
Payment 3: Remaining $195 balance per person, due by May 1st, 2026
(Total payment per person including deposit fee is $395)
