Our Catholic Teaching calls us to be stewards of God’s creation. From the beginning of the Book of Genesis, we are called to kinship with the environment. In order to participate in our role as part of the created order, all people are called to exhibit great care for the environment. This role means with we must care for all creatures, doing our part to protect and conserve the world around us.
Furthermore, we are called to promote laws and to advocate for movements that help the environment. You can keep up with Action Alerts by subscribing to the USCCB’s network here.
