Marywood University Chamber Singers Concert

Saint John the Evangelist Parish, 35 William Street in Pittston, will host a performance by the Marywood University Chamber Singers, a select group of students under the direction of Dr. Rick Hoffenberg, on Friday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will include Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei, the composer's own choral arrangement of the cherished Adagio for Strings.  Music by Palestrina, Wolfram Buchenberg, Howard Helvey, Stacey V. Gibbs, and Moses Hogan will also be included on the program. This will be the first performance scheduled as part of a concert series hosted by Saint John the Evangelist and Saint Joseph Marello Parishes in Pittston. All are invited to attend.
