Independence Day Concert

On Monday, June 30 at 7:00 PM, the music ministries of the Roman Catholic parishes of Pittston, joined by musicians from the community, will  present a concert for Independence Day at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street in Pittston. 

Members and friends of the parish choirs will sing, with some opportunities for all in attendance to sing along.  Guest instrumentalists for this year’s concert will include a brass quartet (Dale Chase, Dan Coyle, Chuck Smith, and Geoff Speicher), flutist Cindy Thomas, and percussionist Monica Spishock.  Veterans of the United States Armed Services will receive special recognition during the concert. 

A free-will offering will be accepted.
