Catholic Choral Society Schedules Spring Concerts

The annual spring concerts of the Catholic Choral Society of Scranton celebrating the 76th year of the choral group will be presented on Friday evening, May 16th at 7:00 PM at Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church at 316 William Street in Scranton and on Sunday evening , May 18 at 7:00 PM at  the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola at 339 N. Maple Ave., Kingston, PA.

On Friday evening, May 16th, at Holy Rosary Church, the Choral Society will host the Mary, Mother of God Adult Choir directed by Kimberly Gnall. On Sunday evening, May 18, at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, the Choral Society will host the Good Shepherd Academy of Kingston Middle School Choir under the direction of  Thomas Hanlon.

The Catholic Choral Society, marking its 76th season, is comprised of members from Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties. The  director of  the Catholic Choral Society is Ann Manganiello and the accompanist is Linda Houck. Brenda Grunza, Nicholson, and Lois Ostrowski, Pittston, are co-presidents of the choral group.

Tickets: Adults $12.00 – Seniors and students $8.00 –Singers and  ages 12 and under free.
