Confirmation deepens our baptismal life and calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. Through Confirmation, our personal relationship with Christ is strengthened. We receive the message of faith in a deeper and more intensive manner with great emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up all communities in loving service.
With this in mind, we offer our heartfelt congratulations to all those young men and women whom Bishop Bambera recently confirmed in parishes throughout the 11 counties of the Diocese of Scranton.
May each and all go forward strengthened by the Spirit of God to be ever faithful followers of Christ.
