Taizé Prayer Around the Cross

Taizé Prayer Around the Cross, a Lenten prayer service will be celebrated on Thursday, March 16th at 6:30 PM in the upper church of St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. This form of prayer is a meditative style of communal prayer.  Sung repetitive refrains create a gentle rhythm. The beauty of our voices united in song becomes a doorway to reflection and meditation. Rob Yenkowski, the music director at King’s College and The Cantores Christi Regis choir will be the ministers of music for this prayer. A freewill offering will the taken up at the end of the service in support of the King’s College students for sharing their time and prayerful ministry.
