The Feast ’26 (church picnic of Our Lady of the Rosary parish) July 9-11 from 5 pm to 10pm each night at the Feast picnic grounds on Farview Street in Carbondale.
We will have traditional, homemade Italian and other ethnic foods. Some featured menu items include: tripe, porketta sandwiches, homemade sauce, sausage & peppers, cabbage & noodles, fried dough, potato pancakes, candy apples, fresh-squeezed lemonade, fried meatballs, and so much more!
This year we will be debuting our very own, home-made pierogies. Entertainment from 7 pm to 10 pm each night: Thursday – Mystic Rulers, Friday – The Wanabees, Saturday – Joe Stanky & the Cadets. We will conclude our celebration on Sunday, July 12 after 10 am Mass with the Procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel throughout the streets of the west side of Carbondale.

Good Shepherd Summer Festival

Good Shepherd Church, 87 South Hunter Highway in Drums, will hold its annual Summer Festival July 10 (5-10 p.m.), July 11 (1-10 p.m.) and July 12 (1-7 p.m.) on the parish grounds.
Entertainment includes North of 40 (July 10 from 6-9:30 p.m.), New Arrival (July 11 from 1-4 p.m.), ALV Karaoke and DJ Services (July 11 from 4-6 p.m.), Kartune (July 11 from 6:30-10 p.m.), Tommy Molinaro (July 12 from 1-3 p.m.), and The Legends (July 12 from 3-6:30 p.m.).
The festival features all of your food and beverage favorites including empanads (new this year), chicken fingers, haluski, halupki, sausage and pepper hoagies, pierogies, potato pancakes, pulled pork, steak hoagies, funnel cakes, beer, and wine coolers. There will be games for kids and adults, tricky tray, raffle ticket, and instant bingo chances on sale, and face painting by The Magical Paint Brush.

Parish picnic at the Wilkes Barre Township Settlement Camp from noon until dusk. In addition to all the traditional picnic food and drink, there will be swimming and boating in the lake, and recreational activities on the baseball field and basketball court.
Moscow Country Street Fair/ St. Catherine’s Rummage Sale

Moscow Country Street Fair “Hometown Roots and Cowboy Boots” will celebrate 10 years of bringing Music, Art, and Culture and Fun to downtown Moscow. St. Catherine of Siena Parish will host their much anticipated Donations Only Rummage Sale and their Ethnic Food Tent featuring halupki, Kielbasi, haluski, and many other options.

Our Lady of Victory Church, located at 327 Cherry Lane Road in Tannersville, PA, wants to bring to your attention our Annual Summerfest being held on August 1st ( 4-8 PM) and August 2nd (11:30 – 3 PM). We will be having a preview of the Tricky Tray items on 7/18 from 4-7; 7/19 11:30 to 2 and 7/25 from 4-7 PM; and 7/26 11:30 to 2 PM.
This event features wonderful homemade food, a tricky tray, used book sale, mystery packages, and wonderful home-made baked goods. Admission and parking are free.
