The Feast ’26 (church picnic of Our Lady of the Rosary parish) July 9-11 from 5 pm to 10pm each night at the Feast picnic grounds on Farview Street in Carbondale.
We will have traditional, homemade Italian and other ethnic foods. Some featured menu items include: tripe, porketta sandwiches, homemade sauce, sausage & peppers, cabbage & noodles, fried dough, potato pancakes, candy apples, fresh-squeezed lemonade, fried meatballs, and so much more!
This year we will be debuting our very own, home-made pierogies. Entertainment from 7 pm to 10 pm each night: Thursday – Mystic Rulers, Friday – The Wanabees, Saturday – Joe Stanky & the Cadets. We will conclude our celebration on Sunday, July 12 after 10 am Mass with the Procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel throughout the streets of the west side of Carbondale.

Good Shepherd Summer Festival

Good Shepherd Church, 87 South Hunter Highway in Drums, will hold its annual Summer Festival July 10 (5-10 p.m.), July 11 (1-10 p.m.) and July 12 (1-7 p.m.) on the parish grounds.
Entertainment includes North of 40 (July 10 from 6-9:30 p.m.), New Arrival (July 11 from 1-4 p.m.), ALV Karaoke and DJ Services (July 11 from 4-6 p.m.), Kartune (July 11 from 6:30-10 p.m.), Tommy Molinaro (July 12 from 1-3 p.m.), and The Legends (July 12 from 3-6:30 p.m.).
The festival features all of your food and beverage favorites including empanads (new this year), chicken fingers, haluski, halupki, sausage and pepper hoagies, pierogies, potato pancakes, pulled pork, steak hoagies, funnel cakes, beer, and wine coolers. There will be games for kids and adults, tricky tray, raffle ticket, and instant bingo chances on sale, and face painting by The Magical Paint Brush.

The Gate of Heaven 75th Anniversary Committee will host the Joint Parish Picnic on Sunday, August 2nd at Noon at the GOH Parish Center. Hot dogs, Hamburgers, soda & water will be provided. Please bring a covered dish.
Join us at the Grove at 420 South Mountain Boulevard in Mountain Top, PA, for the 73rd annual St. Jude Parish Picnic, Friday, August 7th (4 p.m.~10 p.m.), Saturday, August 8th (4 p.m.~10 p.m.) and Sunday, August 9th (Noon ~ 8 p.m.). Enjoy homemade pierogi and halusky, a large basket raffle, and nightly entertainment. Be sure to stop by for the open-pit Chicken BBQ Dinner, starting at noon on Sunday.

Sunday September 27th, the annual GOH Birthday Tea will be held at Apple Tree Terrace from 12pm-3pm. In honor of the 75th Anniversary, we will have “The Way it Was”. Each table will have a monthly theme, basket raffles and entertainment by Changing Habits. Tickets will be $35 a person, and there will be a cash bar.
