Dear Pastors, Parish Life Coordinators, Principals, Directors of Religious Education and Youth Ministers,
March will be here before we know it and it is time to request your nominations for the Bishop’s Youth Awards, to be celebrated on Monday, March 28, 2022. The Mass is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at St Matthew in East Stroudsburg.
Please take the time to carefully consider which students in your eighth and twelfth grade programs will best represent the spirit and intent of this award for your parish or school community. Click on the link shown below to go to the nomination form.
Once the list of students has been compiled, each pastor or parish life coordinator will receive the names of those students in his or her parish. We will ask the pastors and parish life coordinators to affirm the students as active parish members.
Each student will receive an email informing them of their nomination and with details pertaining to the Bishop’s Youth Awards Mass in their region. Because of this step, please do not inform the students of the award before they receive the email announcement. If you cannot provide us with an email for the family, we will forward the information to you directly to present to the student.

Please honor the deadline for nominations: Monday, March 7, 2022. This will allow us to properly congratulate each recipient and to send the families the instructions they need for the evening gathering, both through email. In addition, to prepare for a smooth and meaningful liturgical celebration for all participants.
