Dear Friends in Christ:
As the joyful celebration of Christmas approaches, the Diocesan Office of Communications requests your assistance with two pieces of information.
First, many people visit the Diocese of Scranton website on a daily basis looking for Mass schedules/times of individual parishes. That is only expected to increase as Christmas approaches. We are planning to provide a master list of all parish Mass times for Christmas and kindly ask that you provide your parish’s schedule, along with any other pertinent information (whether reservations are required or if there will be a livestream of any Masses).
Second, at the request of the Pennsylvania Catholic Conference, Dioceses across Pennsylvania have been asked to share information on how their parishes and social service agencies have continued to help the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Collectively, the work done in each of our parishes to feed, assist and clothe those in need has been extraordinary. We are hoping you can help us share the positive news that is taking place in our Diocese on a daily basis.
If possible, we kindly request this information be completed by Friday, December 11, 2020.
