Catholic Social Services of Hazleton "A Night at The Races"

Catholic Social Services Auxiliary of Hazleton will host its annual “A Night At The Races” on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Catholic Social Services Family Center, 106 South Church Street, Hazleton. Proceeds will benefit Catholic Social Services programs serving the Greater Hazleton Area. Doors open at 6 p.m. with post time at 7 p.m. Food and soft drinks will be provided. Attendees must be 21 years of age. The venue is handicapped accessible. Seating is limited and advance tickets are $10, or $15 at the door. To purchase a horse, or to sponsor an ad in the program booklet, call Catholic Social Services at (570) 455-1521 prior to Feb. 19. Winners need not be present. All horses purchased the day of the event will not be featured in the book. Catholic Social Services Auxiliary of Hazleton, committed to supporting the work of the agency, welcomes new members. The group provides not only monetary support through its planned projects and events, but also volunteers to assist in programs and services.
