The Catholic Choral Society will present an Advent – Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 11th at 3 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston, PA. The choral group will be presenting sacred Advent and Christmas music as well other Christmas selections. The Catholic Choral group will host the combined chorus from St. John the Evangelist and St, Joseph Marello parishes and directors Michael Sowa and Brandon Jopling. The concert is open to the public free of charge, however, a free will offering will be available. Brenda Grunza and Lois Ostrowski are co-presidents of the Catholic Choral Society while Dr. Thomas Rittenhouse is president emeritus. Ann Manganello is music director of the group while Linda Houck is accompanist.
