Hazleton Liberty Band presents a special Patriotic Concert

Special Patriotic Concert — Open to All! 🎶

The Hazleton Liberty Band will present a special Patriotic Concert on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at St. John Bosco Church in Conyngham.

The concert is free of charge and open to the entire public. No reservations are required—simply come to the church and enjoy approximately one hour of beautiful patriotic and other musical selections.

The Hazleton Liberty Band has a remarkable history in our community. Founded in 1859, the band served during the Civil War, and members of the organization were present at Appomattox Court House on April 9, 1865, when General Robert E. Lee surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant.

This year, as our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, it is especially fitting to welcome the Hazleton Liberty Band to St. John Bosco for an afternoon of patriotic music and remembrance.
