Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration 2026
Every summer, the diocese holds a Wedding Anniversary Celebration for couples celebrating their 10th, 25th, 40th, and 50th years of marriage in Saint Peter’s Cathedral, where couples renew their wedding commitment. This year’s Mass will be held on June 28, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
Mark your calendar if you are celebrating your 10th, 25th, 40th or 50th Anniversary in 2026, or share this news with others who may be doing so. Stay tuned for additional information about this year’s Wedding Anniversary Mass.

Sunday, June 28th, 2026 at 2:30pm – Cathedral of St. Peter – 315 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA 18503
Couples celebrating their 10th, 25th, 40th or 50th Wedding Anniversary. Due to the large number of attendees from across the diocese, we must limit attendance to just the anniversary couples. However, if a couple requires assistance, one additional person may attend with you to assist with driving or any other help that day.
Pre-registration is required for the Mass and the reception. Couples may directly access the 2026 Wedding Anniversary Mass Registration Formhere. The registration deadline is Sunday, June 7th, 2026.
Couples should arrive between 1:30 and 2:15PM (after the regular 12:15PM Sunday Mass has dismissed)
Parking will be available in lots at the center of the 300 block of Wyoming Avenue, and on the corner of Linden Street and Wyoming Avenue
Immediately following the liturgy, we will have a reception with light refreshments at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, which is across the street from the Cathedral (330 Wyoming Avenue).
At the reception following the Mass, couples may take a professional photo with Bishop Bambera ($20 fee-cash, card, or check accepted)

Celebración del Aniversario de Boda Diocesano 2026
Cada verano, la diócesis celebra el aniversario de bodas para las parejas que celebran sus 10, 25, 40 y 50 años de matrimonio en la Catedral de San Pedro, donde renuevan su compromiso matrimonial. La misa de este año se celebrará el 28 de junio de 2026 a las 14:30 .
