TAIZE PRAYER AROUND  THE CROSS 

A Lenten prayer service will be celebrated on Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 PM in the upper church at St. Nicholas-St. Mary Parish, 226 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre.

This form of prayer is a meditative style of communal prayer. Sung repetitive refrains create a gentle rhythm. The beauty of our voices united in song becomes a doorway to reflection and meditation.

Rob Yenkowski, the music director at King’s College and The Cantores Christi Regis choir will be the ministers of music for this prayer. 

A freewill offering will be taken at the end of the service in support of the King’s College students for sharing their time and prayerful ministry. Taize prayer will surely enhance your Lenten Season!
