Night at the Races

The Holy Name Society and Altar and Rosary Societies of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Pittston invite you to “take your sweetheart” to a Night at the Races on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, in the Msgr. Bendik Pastoral Center.  Doors open at 6 PM and races start at 7 PM.  Admission is $10 and includes food, refreshments, and a horse.  If your horse wins, you receive a $50 cash prize!  If you wish, you may sponsor a race for $50 or donate a basket for a raffle prize.  For more information, please call the parish office at 570-654-0053 during business hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM-4 PM or Friday 9 AM-12 Noon.  For your horse name or race sponsorship to appear in the booklet, please respond by February 8, 2026.  Thank you!
