Loss of a Spouse

The Beginning Experience

     Level (support) groups and a weekend experience to help heal from loss of a spouse through death, divorce, or separation. The cost of a weekend registration is $150 including non-refundable deposit.

competent help for your marriage, please consider these possibilities:

Retrouvaille

A weekend and follow-up sessions for stressed marriages put on by trained priest and married couples who have survived marital difficulties; not counseling or group therapy. A registration deposit is required and a donation will be requested; finances should not prevent attendance.  

Individual or marriage counseling through Catholic Social Services

Ask your pastor or the Family Life Director for the name of a Catholic counselor in private practice.

Victim Assistance

    
The role of the Victim Assistance Coordinator is to provide, directly and through others, for the immediate pastoral care of persons who claim to have been sexually abused when they were minors by a priest or deacon. The coordinator is also charged with informing those who have suffered such abuse that the diocese stands ready to assist them.
