A Day of Reflection on the new pope of
the Roman Catholic Church, Benedict XVI,
will be held this Saturday, November 5, from
9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Diocese of
Scranton’s Fatima Renewal Center in
Dalton.
Dr. J. Brian Benestad, professor of
theology at The University of Scranton, will
present the program. His topics will be “God
Is Near Us: Pope Benedict XVI on the
Eucharist,” “Salt of the Earth: An
Interview with Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger,”
and “What Has Pope Benedict XVI Done So
Far?”
Cost for the day is $25, which includes
