Midnight Mass and Christmas Specials on CTV

       Once again this year, Catholic Television (CTV) of the Diocese of Scranton will broadcast Christmas Midnight Mass from St. Peter’s Cathedral.

CTV will air its live presentation of “The Solemnity of Christmas Mass at Midnight” at 12 a.m. on Dec. 25 from St. Peter’s in downtown Scranton . Bishop Joseph F. Martino will preside.

EWTN’s live broadcast of “Solemn Mass at Midnight with Pope Benedict XVI from St. Peter’s Basilica” in Rome will air on CTV on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m. Encore presentations can be seen on CTV on Christmas Day at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.

CTV will carry EWTN’s live coverage of Pope Benedict’s Urbi et Orbi Christmas Message from St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican on Dec. 25 at 6 a.m. A rebroadcast of the event will air later on Christmas at 10 p.m.

The latest edition of “Our Faith, Our Diocese” features Bishop Martino discussing the Strategic Planning Process for Catholic schools in the Diocese of Scranton. This program will air on CTV on Dec. 31 at 5 p.m., Jan. 2 at 8 p.m., Jan. 4 at 11 a.m. and Jan. 5 at 11 a.m.
