As the youth of your parish prepare for their First Holy Communion, the Fatima Renewal Center wishes to invite you to consider leaving your parish retreat to us.  Situated on 350 beautiful acres at the beginning of the Endless Mountains in Dalton, Pennsylvania, the Center is the ideal location for a Sacramental retreat.

Possessing an adaptable layout, buffet-style meal service, and a full-sized gymnasium, Fatima is great for both large and small groups (though groups over 50 may need to schedule two sessions.)  

The goal of First Holy Communion programming at the Fatima Renewal Center is to prepare the students for the celebration of the sacrament through an age-appropriate balance of education, prayer, creativity and humor.  The word Eucharist means “thanksgiving” and that theme is at the heart of this four-hour retreat.  (Five hours if you wish to conclude with Mass. )  All of the activities and discussions will focus on recognizing the many blessings we have received from God for which we should be thankful, especially Jesus’ giving of Himself in the Eucharist.  

The office for Parish Life/Youth Ministry will conduct the retreat for you, tailoring its content, when desired, to your specific class.  For those parishes that wish to lead their own retreat, the Fatima Center invites you to consider using our immaculate facility.
