BOYS - Basketball

Director - Joe Long
Joe is in his sixth year as the director of
the Camp St. Andrew basketball
clinic. He currently is the
Head Men's Basketball Coach at
Luzerne County Community
College. Prior to this, Long
spent ten years as the head
basketball coach at Seton Catholic
High School (Pittston).

Long's teams won two Wyoming Valley
Conference Championships (2001,
2005), and one PIAA District 2 Class
A championship (2002). Before
Seton Catholic, he was the assistant
basketball coach at Coughlin High School
and at Meyers High School. Joe
is the principal at the Greater
Nanticoke Area Education Center, and
K. M. Smith Elementary School.
Long resides in Jenkins Township
with his wife, Jenny, and his two
sons, Joey and Jack.

Director - Renee Casterline
Renee
Casterline has completed her 6th year as
head coach at Wyoming Seminary. Before
coaching at Wyoming Seminary, she
spent two years coaching Junior High
Basketball at Bishop Hafey. A native of
the Wyoming Valley, Renee was a four
varsity starter at Seton Catholic
High School in Pittston where her
team won the District Championship
her senior year. She also
holds the all time record at Seton
Catholic for assists, accumulating
over 1,000 assists during her high
school career. She continued
her athletic career at Millersville
University (NCAA Div. II) in
Lancaster before transferring to
Wilkes- University in Wilkes-Barre (NCAA
Div. III). In addition to
coaching, Renee teaches Biology and Forensic
Science at the Wyoming Seminary
Upper School. This is her 13th
year on staff and second year serving
as program director.

CAMP
FEATURES:
- One of the most popular
camps in the region for over 25 years.
- Basketball activities
include two games daily, dribble series,
shooting instruction, teaching stations,
post play, hot shot, three on three and
one on one.

campfire night, skit night and ropes
course.
